General Contracting

A General Contractor has the prime construction contract for a project, and is responsible for supplying all of the material, labor, equipment, and services. The GC commonly subcontracts part of the work to other companies that specalize in those types of work.  As an established GC we have established relationships that outlast single construction projects, and subcontractors acknowledge this with best pricing and cooperation.

Today general contractors frequently participate in the design team efforts by providing pre-design services to help provide more accurate estimations of budget and scheduling to improve the over all economy of the project. 

At Hammers Construction we are proud to provide the crews &  equipment to self perform a  vast majority of services:

  • Concrete: Our expert Concrete crew provides footing, foundation and concrete flat work for the largest of projects.
  • Framing: With steel studs, wood studs, or a metal building package, the project structure goes up!
  • Roofing:  Metal roofs are our specialty!
  • Maintenance: Once a project is completed, we can take care of all those little things that come up.

 At Hammers Construction we coordinate local subcontractors for this type of work:

  • Mechanical & Plumbing  Systems
  • Electrical
  • Drywall Hanging & finishing
  • Painting
